Our Top-of-the-Line Dentures
Dentures change lives. That’s why Searcy Family Dental proudly offers comfortable, top-of-the-line, custom dentures that are both designed and manufactured on-site in our very own dental lab, right here in Searcy.
We also offer same-day denture repair as a convenience for our denture patients.
We begin the dentures process by carefully taking impressions to provide the most accurate fit possible. We will then use these impressions to create a wax model of what the dentures will look like. Our denture patients are able to try on this wax model to confirm that they are happy with the size, shape, and color before the actual manufacturing process begins.
Once our denture patients are completely happy with the wax model, we then complete the process by creating the dentures. The wax portions of the model are replaced with acrylic materials, and all final adjustments are made. The entire process, from start to finish, takes place at our very own denture lab, ensuring that our denture patients’ needs are fully understood and met. This process allows us to offer three tiers of dentures: Economy, Deluxe, and Premium.

HOME CARE FOR DENTURES
For those of you planning to get dentures, you may be wondering how to take the best care of them. When taken care of properly, they can last a long time. Making sure dentures are properly cared for is important for your oral health and overall wellbeing. Here are some tips for taking the best care of dentures:
Still Take Care of Your Mouth
Just because you don’t have your natural teeth anymore doesn’t mean oral hygiene habits should change. Gently brush your gums to prevent bad breath germs, reduce the bacteria in your mouth, and get rid of loose food particles that could get stuck underneath your dentures.
Brush Your Dentures
Dentures need to be brushed daily, just like natural teeth. Normal toothpaste can be abrasive and scratch the soft materials that dentures are made with, so use a brush and Dawn dishwashing detergent to prevent scratching them. Because if scratched, the area holds bacteria that can cause bad odors and a bad taste.
Soak Your Dentures When You Aren’t Wearing Them
To avoid your dentures losing their proper shape to your mouth, make sure they are kept moist when you are not wearing them. It’s best to soak them in a product made for dentures to prevent them from losing their color or shape.
Use ADA Approved Adhesives
Ask your dentist for recommended adhesive products with the ADA Seal of Acceptance for reliable and most effective products if you need them. They come in many forms such as pastes, creams, powders, and liquids.
Have Regular Checkups
Visit your dentist at least annually to ensure that your dentures have the best fit possible and make any adjustments to fit and fix loose teeth. Your dentist can deep clean your dentures, removing stains and any built up plaque. Also, the dentist can do an exam to check for proper fit, possible lesions, and/or tumors.
