How To Maximize Your Dental Benefits (Before It’s Too Late)

While you’re out and about making that Christmas list and checking it twice, don’t forget about one very important to-do item before the new year: scheduling that dental appointment.

Did you know that millions of dollars in potential dental insurance benefits are lost all over the U.S. every year? It’s easy to forget about taking advantage of those dental benefits during this incredibly busy time before the holidays, but they do expire at the end of the month. Fortunately, there is still time to become established with a family dentist and schedule your cleaning before the end of December. Simply put, it’s a classic “use it or lose it” scenario, and we want to help.

In our latest video, Dr. Barker explains why you’ll want to call and schedule your appointment before it’s too late, making sure that you take full advantage of services you’ve already earned. Check it out below:

Our patients often ask about how they can maximize their dental benefits, especially at the end of the year. Whenever we get this question, we always advise our patients to take full advantage of whatever benefits they have – especially cleanings – before December 31st. How do you, as a patient, do this? Most dental insurances won’t allow you to use services if they are not used by the end of the year, and you can’t carry those services with you to the next one. Consequently, your benefits will start over all together on January 1st. To get the most bang for your buck, use them before they run out. You’ve already paid for them, you’ve earned them, and anything you don’t use is, simply put, money lost. We urge you to get any dental care that you may need before the end of the year, and you won’t have to pay new deductibles. Plus, it allows our entire family dental team to serve you better in the long run.

Dr. Barker strives to develop lifelong relationships with his patients by combining the latest in dental technology and techniques, including dental implants, dentures, cosmetic dentistry, and root canal treatments with a professional and compassionate staff. The result is a beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime! Call Searcy Family Dental today with questions or to schedule an appointment with us by clicking HERE!
