What will I do as a dental assistant? 

Dental assistants are responsible for a multitude of tasks around any dental office. While exact job roles vary from practice to practice, you’ll spend your days helping dentists and dental hygienists with many things, including:

• Assisting the dentist during treatment procedures
• Taking and developing dental x-rays
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Comforting patients and making sure they stay calm and relaxed before, during, and after treatment procedures
• Obtaining dental records and history from new patients

How long is the program? 

We offer a 13-week program that begins on January 8, 2018. Each week, you’ll be learning through hands-on lectures and labs as well as opportunities to shadow in the office!

I have a full-time job. How can I balance both? 

Our classes are on Monday and Tuesday nights from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM to accommodate everyone’s busy schedules. We know that starting a new career is a transition, and we want to help make sure you have every opportunity needed to start this new journey!

How much is tuition? 

We’ve actually lowered tuition this year to make our program even more affordable! This program is now offered for $2197 plus the cost of scrubs, your nitrous oxide certification, and the board examination.

Is there a way to pay for tuition in installments? 

Yes! We have a simple payment plan for anyone who needs to break up tuition costs. You’ll pay a $200 deposit that goes towards the cost of tuition up front, and then make four installment payments of $499.25 on weeks 1, 4, 8, and 12.
